Take part in the V All-Russian legal championship MGIMO Law Championship 2024, to be held at MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

MGIMO Law Championship is a platform where you can:

  • Solve real legal cases and tasks;

  • Demonstrate your knowledge and skills in the field of jurisprudence;

  • Meet experts and leaders in the field of law and exchange experiences with them;

  • Compete for prizes and valuable awards.

The championship is held with the support of the MGIMO Department of Educational Work and the Grateful Alumni Fund of the MGIMO International Law Faculty.

Championship Structure:

  • M&A;

  • Criminal law;

  • Family law;

  • International commercial arbitration;

  • Pharmaceutical law and healthcare.

Prize:

The winning team in each area will receive a prize of 75,000 rubles, the finalist team that took second place – 50,000 rubles, third place – 25,000 rubles. Gifts from the partners of the Case Championship are also provided within the framework of special nominations.

Procedure for the Event:

Correspondence Stage-

On October 7 at 20:00 on the MGIMO Law Championship page on the Vkontakte social network, the texts of the tasks for the correspondence stage in each direction will be posted. The teams will have several days to provide their own case solution by e-mail. The teams will be provided with the requirements for the design of the case solution. Based on the results of the correspondence stage, 5 finalist teams will be selected in each direction.

In-person Stage-

The in-person stage will take place on November 19 at MGIMO. 25 teams will take part in the in-person stage. The jury for the in-person stage will include representatives of MGIMO Law Championship partner companies. The Rector of MGIMO, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Anatoly Torkunov and co-founder of the MGIMO Grateful Law Graduates Fund Yuri Monastyrsky will participate in the closing of the case championship.
