About the competition:
The competition is held to develop the human resources potential of high-tech industries, attracting young people to solve promising production, technical, and economic problems of strategic importance for the development of Russian industry (the real sector of the economy); improving the quality of engineering education by forming tools for interaction between engineering education, scientific organizations, and high-tech enterprises in the real sector of the economy.
Who can Participate?
Students in the final years of bachelor’s, specialist, master’s and postgraduate studies of higher education institutions can participate in the competition.
How to Participate?
To participate in the competition, it is necessary to fill out an individual application in the autumn period on the VIK competition website with an extended description of the planned topic, and also attach a presentation of the final qualifying work.
Stages of Competition:

After the applications are submitted by the participants, the selection stage of the competition takes place. At this time, a preliminary expert assessment of the final qualifying works of the participants is carried out. Based on the results of the assessment, the best applications are admitted to the semi-finals of the competition.

In the semi-final, participants will be able to discuss the content and development of their projects with experts and receive recommendations and individual consultations. Participants will also be offered training and master classes on developing presentation skills and a large-scale business program – lectures and seminars on modern trends in engineering development.

The final stage of the competition will be held in person in Moscow, during which the finalists of the competition will demonstrate their work to representatives of the industrial sector.
