The European Youth Energy Forum (EYEF) is the flagship event of the European Youth Energy Network, with the mission to create the space for youth to voice their opinions and collaborate with energy stakeholders towards better youth engagement in the European energy transition.

People from the ages of 18 to 35 from across Europe are eligible to apply to the forum. Based on rigorous criteria, EYEN selects the best applicants to participate in weekly online sessions, as well as a 5-day live event in Budapest (all expenses covered!). EYEF aims to induce structural changes towards mainstreaming the ideas and visions of young people in the energy sector.

For the third edition of the forum, 60 participants will be selected who will have to work on solutions for the cities of the future. Understanding the role of cities in the energy transition, and their potential to be at the forefront of innovative solutions across sectors and applications whilst taking a leading role in driving social change. Expanding energy access, tackling energy poverty, encouraging energy efficiency and pushing for clean energy technologies are just a few of the examples that this conference will focus on.

The event will include discussion panels with energy experts (open to the general public and streamed online), as well as work sessions with the participants, facilitated by EYEN.
