The Gorchakov Foundation together with Rossotrudnichestvo, IMEMO named after. EAT. Primakov RAS and other leading institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences are opening applications for the InteRussia internship in international relations for specialists from the CIS countries. The partners of the program will be the National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations. EAT. Primakov RAS, Institute of the United States of America and Canada named after Academician G.A. Arbatov RAS, Institute of Europe RAS, Institute of Latin America RAS and Institute of African Studies RAS.
Internship topic: “Polycentric world: new trends and risks.”
What awaits the participants?
During the internship, participants will be able to:

immerse yourself in the life of the Russian scientific community;

visit government authorities;
-
take part in expert sessions at Russian scientific and analytical centres;

work under the guidance of leading Russian international relations scholars from RAS institutes;
-
prepare a scientific research of 15-25 thousand characters.
Requirements for candidates:
Foreign specialists who meet the following requirements are allowed to participate in the competition:

Citizenship of Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and South Ossetia.

Age 25 – 35 years.
-
Residence outside the territory of Russia.

Professional knowledge of the Russian language (at least level C1).

Providing an individual research plan on the selected topic.
-
Academic degree of Candidate of Sciences/Ph.D., or at least three years of work experience in a scientific organization/analytical centre, or postgraduate studies.
How to participate?

Register on the English version of the Gorchakov Foundation website. If you do not receive a registration confirmation email, check your Spam folder.

Go to the “My Projects” section, click the “Create Application” button, select the competition “InteRussia – International Relations – CIS Countries”, and click the “Yes” button.

Fill in ALL required fields.

In the “Submit Application” section, click on the “Submit Application” button and wait for the status to change from “Preparation” to “Submitted”.
The organizers provide:

travel from the applicant’s place of residence to Moscow and back;
-
double occupancy;
-
visa support;
-
health insurance;
-
stipend for the duration of the internship in the amount of 30,000 rubles.
Participants pay:
meals during the internship.
