The New York Times Fellowship is a one-year work program to cultivate the next generation of journalists.

The fellowship represents a unique opportunity to do great journalism for The Times. It incorporates speakers, feedback and training opportunities. The program’s goal is to benefit not only the participants and The Times but also other newsrooms.

The program incorporates a range of reporters, editors and visual journalists.

Fellows work full-time, are paid and receive benefits.

Who is eligible for the fellowship?

• The program is designed for journalists with some early career experience, including recent college graduates.

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Applicants to positions in London must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
